22 May 2013, Reading, Berkshire: Session replay software startup UserReplay has partnered with French distributor Star-Achats as part of a growth strategy to expand into the pan-European eCommerce market.
Star-Achats represents American and British software companies in the growing French-speaking markets of France, Belgium and Switzerland. The distributor will promote the UserReplay product in these territories.
UserReplay is used by businesses with a high-volume of eCommerce transactions. It lets you record, re-run and analyse every visitor’s journey through a website, so customer service desks and support staff can use it to quickly identify problems with the website. This saves days for the web development team as they don’t have to try and replicate what happened based on vague details from the customer. Other key uses of session replay are in resolving complaints and disputes with customers, recovering abandoned checkout pages and even protecting against online fraud.
John Thompson, CEO of UserReplay says: “We see this as a big potential market for us because online retail is growing fast in the French-speaking world. Star-Achats has a long history of selling partners’ software to the financial services, utilities and telecoms sectors so we are delighted to be working together.”
Thierry Kolton, CEO of Star-Achats is enthusiastic about the agreement: “User Replay’s session replay technology has proved its value by helping established global brands improve their website functionality for consumers and in resolving disputes more quickly.”
“The French eCommerce market now includes 120,000 eCommerce sites and will account for more than 53 billion Euros in transactions in 2013. Meanwhile, major French financial institutions are increasing their online banking offerings, and because of all these factors, we see UserReplay as a perfect fit for online retailers and financial institutions in France, Belgium and Switzerland.”
UserReplay’s customer experience analytics solution enables businesses to discover the truth about their customers’ digital experience. It combines replay of customer journeys with sophisticated analytics that identify customer struggles and monetizes their impact. This helps improve conversion, resolve technical and usability issues more quickly, recover lost customers and prevent fraud. Aimed at medium to large enterprises with digital channels, UserReplay has the flexibility to be deployed as SaaS or installed software. Leading brands all over the world rely on UserReplay to improve the quality of the website experience for their customers and increase revenue from their digital channel. The company has raised over $10M in funding to date from EC1 Capital Ltd, Episode 1 and others.
